On last night’s episode of SiriusXM’s “Straight Shooter with Stephen A.,” Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed responded to Vice President JD Vance’s recent warning to keep his wife’s name out of his mouth. Asked by Stephen A. Smith whether he planned to get into a fight with the vice president, El-Sayed said no — before accusing Vance of hypocrisy. “If you don’t wanna talk about my wife, maybe you should talk to your boss about how he brought spouses into it,” El-Sayed said. El-Sayed was referring to President Donald Trump previously posting a photo featuring both men and their wives. The Senate nominee also criticized Vance over the Trump administration’s policies, arguing that the vice president “knows better.” “I just think it’s kind of important to pay attention to hypocrisy, which is something JD Vance doesn’t wanna talk about,” El-Sayed said.
