Adéla Makes Her Late Night TV Debut On Fallon

Arguably this year's biggest breakout pop star is Adéla. The Slovakian former ballerina and Dream Academy dropout is a dedicated student of the art of pop stardom, and her debut album Prima has spun off a pair of extremely fun slow-rolling hits, the soul-looped, spoken-word R&B jam "Nicole Kidman" and "Ain't In LA," more or less a clone of "We Can't Stop" by her childhood inspiration Miley Cyrus. The album tracks are worth hearing too.

Thursday on The Tonight Show, Adéla made her late night TV debut. Not only did she perform a medley of "Nicole Kidman" and "Ain't In LA," she first sat for an interview with Jimmy Fallon. Adéla told the host she mastered her American accent by studying Hannah Montana and old pop star interviews with Fallon himself, as described on Prima's opening track "KGB." She then invited Fallon to join her in performing her signature move, the swaggerina.

You can behold this moment and Adéla's performance below.

Fun stuff, but her lip synching could use some work!
