Angine de Poitrine Debut Third Member On Triangle

A third Angine de Poitrine member has landed. The Montreal math-rock art project has grown to sudden stardom, and maybe now they can afford to fly over more musicians from their home planet. That's one theory, anyway. On Thursday night, the duo played at the sold-out Toronto venue HISTORY, and they briefly became a trio. They debuted as as-yet-untitled new song, and an as-yet-unnamed new musician joined them to play the triangle.Angine de Poitrine introduced their colleague with a great deal of ceremony, and that individual came to the stage in a brand-new costume, holding an instrument that evidently hold great symbolic weight for the band. Before they launched into a new song that I might characterize as a "speed-choogle," the new member hit the triangle once. Deeper into the song, though, they got a little busier with it.
