Anxious reveal new track, "Don't Move"

"Don't Move" is the band's first new music since their second album Bambi, released last year. The single arrives just as Anxious are gearing up to support Citizen on their upcoming North American tour alongside Hotline TNT, Rocket, and Cryogeyser, kicking off on 18 August in Chicago. "This song is about a relationship that defined my early twenties falling apart - then trying and failing to rebuild it," vocalist Grady Allen says of the track. "It’s about disengaging with reality in hopes of reclaiming the bond you’ve lost with someone, but never feeling truly close in the process. 'Don’t Move' is about knowing that feeling, but trying to ignore it in the hope that things will change." "This song was the first song from a group of tracks I started writing at the end of last summer," he continues. "There were no expectations for a record, or for a cohesive idea of what that would mean - it just felt like there was a lot of space for 'let's just put together whatever comes naturally and see what happens.'
