Atlas Sound Announce First Show In Seven Years

Last Christmas, I found myself wondering what ever happened to Bradford Cox. Less than a year later, he's back. No, we have no news on a Deerhunter reunion. Instead, Cox's solo project Atlas Sound has been added to the lineup of next weekend's Making Time ∞ festival in Philadelphia. It will be the first show by any of Cox's projects since 2019.

Making Time ∞ will take place Sept. 18-20 at Fort Mifflin in Philly. Atlas Sound are set to perform at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday of the fest. There's no word as to whether Cox will have any collaborators up there. Some of fest's the other performers include Los Thuthanaka, They Are Gutting A Body Of Water, ear, Dagmar Zuniga, @, Quiet Light, Jump Source, Loidis, Avalon Emerson & The Charm (plus an Avalon Emerson DJ set), Dopplereffekt, Octo Octa b2b Eris Drew, and a live Mary Lattimore/Jeff Parker collaboration.
