Baby Wave – “The Scene Is Changing”

Most of us over here dig Soccer Mommy, right? Now, try to imagine how Soccer Mommy's earlier records might've sounded if they had really big '90s-style fuzz-pop choruses. If that were to happen, you might get something like the new single from Baby Wave, a Nashville trio who just signed a brand new deal with Saddle Creek. Baby Wave formed at a 2021 Christmas party and became part of Nashville's underground. They've already got a handful of singles and EPs to their name, the most recent of which is still life, a 2024 collaboration with Total Wife. Now, Baby Wave are on Saddle Creek and getting ready to release a full-length, and Feeble Little Horse's Sebastian Kinsler produced their catchy, propulsive new single "The Scene Is Changing."
