Bad Bunny Wins His First Seven Emmy Awards

Bad Bunny is officially an Emmy award winner, seven times over. At the Creative Arts Emmys on Saturday night, his Super Bowl LX Halftime Show swept every category it was up for, making Benito the most-decorated nominee of the night.The all-American spectacular brought home the Emmy for Outstanding Variety Special (Live), becoming only the third halftime show to clinch the category. The special also nabbed awards for music direction, choreography, sound mixing, lighting design, technical direction/camerawork and directing. (Bad Bunny technically has a claim to an eighth award, although it won’t actually go to him: the episode of Saturday Night Live he hosted last season won the Emmy for Outstanding Makeup for a Variety, Nonfiction, or Reality Program.)Bad Bunny’s wins mean Jay-Z, an executive producer on the halftime show, also has another Emmy under his belt.
