Barry Can’t Swim has been announced as the second headliner for All Points East 2025 – find all the details below.

The Scottish electronic producer and DJ (real name Joshua Mainnie) is due to top the bill at Victoria Park in east London on Friday August 22 – which is also his birthday.

He will be joined by a host of support acts that are yet to be confirmed.

“Been dying to share this one,” Barry Can’t Swim said. “Next year I’m gonna be headlining All Points East for my only London show in 2025. Can’t wait x.”

Tickets go on general sale at 10am GMT next Tuesday (November 12) – you’ll be able to buy yours here.

Alternatively, Amex customers can access a pre-sale at the same time tomorrow (Friday November 8). Another pre-sale will take place on the All Points East website at 10am GMT
on Monday (November 11).

Last month, it was confirmed that The Maccabees would be reuniting to headline All Points East 2025. The band’s first show in eight years will feature support from the likes of Bombay Bicycle Club and The Cribs.

The Maccabees hadn’t performed together, or even all been in the same room, since their last show at London’s Alexandra Palace in 2017.

Felix White, who performs in 86TVs alongside brother Hugo, explained: “In the intervening years we’ve been to All Points East a lot, separately. It’s become a bit of a landmark festival for us, always checking who’s on the line-up.

“I’d go and have a great time throughout the day, but there was always this pinch of regret watching headliners that we could’ve done it ourselves one day too. I thought that moment had passed, and it was something I was prepared to come to terms with that I was always going to miss.”

He added: “I think we’re all kind of shocked and excited that we get to do it together again.”

Further announcements for next summer’s All Points East are expected in the coming weeks and months.

Meanwhile, Barry Can’t Swim recently played three headline shows at London’s O2 Academy Brixton in support of his Mercury Prize-nominated debut album, 2023’s ‘When Will We Land?’.

He’ll head to the legendary Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow this weekend for two sold-out gigs. In 2025, Barry Can’t Swim is scheduled to perform in Australia, New Zealand, North America and South America.
