Barry Can’t Swim has gone full French touch on his euphoric new single ‘Dance Dance Dance’ – listen below. The Edinburgh-born producer and DJ released the track today (July 24), marking his second single this year with Atlantic Records, after ‘Return To Bhibo’ arrived in May. Inspired by the golden era of French touch, ‘Dance Dance Dance’ sees Barry – real name Joshua Mainnie – pair shimmering synths and buoyant electronic beats with a playful keytar solo and euphoric French-language vocals. While ‘Return To Bhibo’ captured the producer’s emotionally charged, club-focused side, the new track finds him moving into more flamboyant and colourful territory. The single follows a busy run of activity in the US for Mainnie, including walking in KidSuper’s SS27 runway show in Miami and hosting a surprise pop-up party in Brooklyn.
