Music and Dreams: 50th Anniversary Edition is set for release in October. The songs were first recorded with Stan Dacus, head engineer at Atlanta's LeFevre Studios, and was shared among friends and delivered to local record stores and radio stations following its initial release. To celebrate the announcement, Beach House's cover of "April Suzanne" is out today alongside the remastered original. "We love so many Robert Lester Folsom songs and are very pleased to be included on the 50th anniversary edition of Music and Dreams," Beach House say. "We had a lot of fun trying to bring such a classic as 'April Suzanne' into our world." The anniversary edition arrives as double LP, CD and digital editions, with demo material sourced by Folsom's longtime collaborator Don Fleming and all material mastered by Grammy-nominated engineer Jessica Thompson. Folsom is currently on his first extensive US tour, performing at NYC's Bowery Ballroom on 11 October ahead of the 23-date tour's conclusion in Richmond, Virginia on 18 October. Folsom is also set to perform at the ICA in London on 7 November as part of Pitchfork Music Festival, with support from Star Moles and Sean Solomon. Music and Dreams: ...
