— Columbia Records (@ColumbiaRecords) November 8, 2024During the 66th annual Grammy Awards which took place last year, Jay-Z took a moment to snub the organisers for not recognising Beyoncé's work in their Album of the Year category. Whilst accepting the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award, for his contribution to the music industry, Jay-Z highlighted the fact that whilst she was one of the highest awarded artist in the history of the Grammys, Beyoncé has never won Album of the Year.
Alongside being the most nominated artist in history, Beyoncé is also the first woman to be nominated across seven different music genres – Pop, R&B, Rock, Rap, Dance, Country, Americana.
