Black Mekon share new single ahead of 13 Songs About Monsters album

The Birmingham blues-punk duo’s latest track is the record’s closer. It follows last month’s “Radioactive Wolfman”, which first announced the new full-length, a follow-up to 2023’s Lucern Raze-produced NEAT!. 13 Songs will be available on limited edition glow-in-the-dark vinyl alongside digital formats and is on brand for the outfit that has produced their own video game, action figures, comics, fuzz pedals, and an arcade machine, the latter coinciding with the 'Arcade Edition' of their 2019 album Destroy Nostalgia.

A release day show is booked at The Hare & Hounds in Birmingham on 30 October.

Black Mekon, whose two members are anonymous, have spent nearly two decades touring the world with artists including Jack White, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, and Guitar Wolf.
