Chicago death-thrash unit Bloodletter is now streaming their crushing cover of The Black Dahlia Murder's 2003 track "Elder Misanthropy", and for a good cause! Bloodletter is donating 100% of the proceeds from the cover to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Stream it below and download it for yourself here on Bandcamp.

"We love The Black Dahlia Murder, they've been a massive influence on our band since day one," wrote Bloodletter of the cover. "When we lost Trevor Strnad, we decided to do a cover of the song 'Elder Misanthropy' and play it live at a few shows. We wanted to go a bit further with our cover though and we decided that for every sale of the cover we would donate 100% of the proceeds to the NSPL group. Trevor's passing was a huge loss for the metal community worldwide, and this is our way of helping pay tribute to a legend. RIP Trevor, Long live The Black Dahlia Murder!"

The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, across the United States and its territories.
