Borderlands 4’s eclectic soundtrack is getting a vinyl release to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the looter shooter READ MORE: Creating the “raucous punk” soundtrack of ‘Borderlands 4’ Borderlands 4 was released last September and yesterday (September 24) Gearbox Entertainment confirmed the game’s soundtrack would be coming to vinyl. Released in collaboration with Laced Records, the 2LP vinyl set includes 22 specially remastered tracks including Des Rocks’ ‘This Land’ and ‘Thrum Dumpster’, which features Bowling For Soup’s Jaret Reddick and former Pantera vocalist Terry Glaze. The Borderlands 4 soundtrack has contributions from composers Finishing Move Inc., Cris Velasco, Joshua Carro, and Christian Pacaud. Each side of the vinyl release is dedicated to one of major biomes of in-game planet Kairos – The Fadefields, The Terminus Range, Carcadia Burn and the hostile Dominion City. A limited-edition ‘Max Mayhem’ vinyl set, featuring red and yellow discs, is available to pre-order now via Laced. Standard black vinyl is also available.
