Breakaway Mass is returning to Worcester, MA, for its third time, and if last year was any indication, the festival is only getting better with age. As North America’s largest touring music festival, Breakaway continues to expand, with repeat editions proving the brand’s staying power. Following the announcement of its NYC debut this July, the festival is strengthening its claim on the East Coast with Breakaway Mass, giving the Northeast another weekend of high-energy electronic music to look forward to.

Taking over The Palladium on August 21-22, Breakaway Mass promises two days of thumping beats and dancefloor-ready moments. Presented by CELSIUS, the festival is slated to feature big names like Zedd and GRYFFIN, who will command the main stage with their melodic dance-pop and chart-topping hits. Joining them as headliners are Excision and Crankdat, two artists known for their heavy artillery of dubstep bangers, while it’s murph will deliver his euphoric house grooves, proving that rhythm is just as essential as grit.

In addition to these headliners, fans can also expect a strong lineup of bass-leaning artists, including Effin, INZO, Jkyl & Hyde, Know Good, and Steller, who are destined to serve up peak moments to keep the adrenaline levels up. For all those chasing an even higher intensity, expect Sullivan King and YDG to unleash electrifying dubstep drops that will continue to push the festival to the next level.

That doesn’t mean house heads don’t have anything to look forward to. OMNOM, DEVAULT, HILLS, No Thanks, Wax Motif, and Łaszewo will bring groovy rhythms and hypnotic beats to Breakaway Mass during the weekend.

Beyond the music, Breakaway Mass stays true to its tradition of immersive festival experiences. Sponsor activations will offer fans interactive moments throughout the weekend. Two notable inclusions are White Claw Surge, which is set to power the VIP experience, while Jimmy John’s will host this year’s silent disco stage.
