Carissa’s Wierd to return with first album in 25 years

Speaking about the single, "No One Lives Here Anymore", Brooke says, “In a way, the song sets the stage for the album, visiting abandoned places that no longer belong to you. A nostalgia for a past that doesn’t exist anymore.” Carissa’s Wierd (yes, it's spelt that way) are set to return to the stage at the And Always Forever Festival in Los Angeles on 8 November, where they will appear on a lineup that also includes Sophia Stel, The American Analog Set, and Dutch Interior. Formed in Tucson, Arizona, in 1995, Carissa’s Wierd released three full-length albums between 2000 and 2002 on Seattle labels Brown and Sad Robot before breaking up in 2003.
