Celine Dion Denouces Trump’s Use of “My Heart Will Go On: “…And Really, THAT Song?”

Celine Dion has denounced the use of her song “My Heart Will Go On” by Donald Trump during a president campaign rally in Montana on Friday night.

“In no way is this use authorized and Celine Dion does not endorse this or any similar use,” noted statement released on Saturday.

Dion concluded her statement by questioning the wisdom of the song choice, given that it famously soundtracks James Cameron’s Titanic, particularly the scene of the ship sinking. Maybe Trump is resigned to his fate in a head-to-head matchup against Kamala Harris?

Last month, Celine made her live comeback, performing Edith Piaf’s “L’Hymne à l’amour” at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics. The singer has faced a series of health challenges in recent years due to her ongoing battle with stiff-person syndrome.
