Chelsea Wolfe has announced the Unbound EP, a collection of acoustic renditions of songs from her latest full-length album, She Reaches Out To She Reaches Out To She. A new version of “Place in the Sun” can be heard now.
The EP arrives November 15th and features alternate takes on “Whispers in the Echo Chamber,” “Dusk,” “The Liminal,” and “Place in the Sun,” as well as a cover of “Cellar Door” by rising metal act Spiritbox (with whom Wolfe recently performed onstage). Per Wolfe’s press release, Unbound “completes the She Reaches Out triptych” following the prior release of the Undone remix EP.

As heard on this version of “Place in the Sun,” Wolfe has stripped down the highlight tracks from her latest LP to their bare core, leaving just her voice and accompaniment of an acoustic guitar or piano.
In support of the new EP, the singer-songwriter will be showcasing these acoustic renditions on her December “Unbound Tour,” which kicks off on December 4th in Somerville, Massachusetts. Get tickets to those dates here.
