What Is Children of Blood and Bone About?The movie, directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood, which will be one of the first highly anticipated releases of the year when it arrives in theaters on January 15, 2027, is based on the first novel in Adeyemi’s Legacy of Orïsha trilogy, which follows Zelie (Thuso Mbedu) as she tries to restore magic to the land after King Saran (Chiwetel Ejiofor) purged it.
