Crawlers announce surprise EP Live With This and share single "Birthday"

The band released an EP titled TURN OFF THE TV in August, two years after their debut album The Mess We Seem to Make. But without missing a beat, they've now detailed Live With This through the same label. "Birthday" is the single from the four-track record. It deals with the strange sadness of getting older, bottling feelings of disconnected on a day that is meant to be celebratory. The band said they were inspired by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Wolf Alice, and Lorde. Holly Minto explained: "It touches on feeling alone even when surrounded by people, but also finding comfort in knowing this is a shared, generational struggle." She adds that the song is ultimately about reorienting towards the small but powerful memories that get you through the next year. The EP's four tracks are "Birthday", "Born Screaming", "Dirty Parts of Heaven", and "Sure of It". Getting a little sentimental ahead of the release, Minto's statement continued: "We know what we're in it for now, and it's our fans and the amazing inner circle who create Crawlers. We've come back to that band who started in a shed in Warrington, but now we've got more confidence and experience than ever."
