Eleven months ago, Danny Brown returned with Quaranta, his long-awaited “I turned 40” album and quasi-sequel to his 2011 breakout XXX. Today he’s dropped a deluxe edition, which boasts two new songs plus instrumental versions of four from the original LP. The new tracks run the gamut where Brown is concerned: Produced by Black Milk, the infidelity-informed “Cheaters” is bright, boisterous, and bouncy, while the slow-creeping Black Noi$e production “Keep It To Me” leans into Brown’s meditative side. Below, check out the full deluxe Quaranta experience.
Quaranta (Deluxe) is out now on Warp.
