Day Trip Block Party Announces Seattle Takeover This Summer

Sonny Fodera, Layton Giordani, Disco Dom, Walker & Royce, Purple Disco Machine, Riordan, and more are set to headline editions of Day Trip Block Party in Seattle this summer.

Day Trip might have humble beginnings in Los Angeles, but its expansion across the country has helped it stand even taller. Seattle is one of the cities where the house-fueled brand under the Insomniac umbrella has sunk its teeth into lately, and this summer will see it flourish even more in the Pacific Northwest. This week saw the announcement of Day Trip Block Party in Seattle, which will take place at Victory Hall Outdoors all summer long and feature some of the hottest acts in the scene today.

Kicking off the summer run of shows on June 5 is house music maestro Sonny Fodera, who will be joined by CID for the opening festivities. The second date in June will see fast-rising acts Layton Giordani, Westend, and Hills take the stage for a jam-packed day. Then, on the Fourth of July, you can boogie to the beat with Disco Dom and dance music icon Robin S., who will perform live at the show.

On July 24, Walker & Royce and San Pacho are slated to perform at the official Day Trip Seattle pre-party, which confirms that the PNW edition will return this summer, though details on that remain a mystery. Meanwhile, the sole August date features a headline set from HUGEL, sure to draw in those who love the sounds of Latin-infused house.

September closes out the Day Trip Block Party run in style. Purple Disco Machine and Gigamesh will take the stage on September 6, while RIordan, Silva Bumpa, and IDEMI are slated to bring the party to an end on September 13.
