‘Diddy Kong Racing’ soundtrack getting ‘Revisited’ vinyl release

Diddy Kong Racing composer David Wise has revisited the soundtrack to the 1997 game for a new vinyl release. ‘Diddy Kong Racing Revisited’ features 23 tracks from the original Nintendo 64 game that have been given a “fresh reimaging” by Wise. “From the high-speed energy of ‘Dino Domain’ and ‘Fossil Canyon’ to the icy atmosphere of ‘Frosty Village’ and ‘Walrus Cove’, Wise revisits the soundtrack with new arrangements, expanded instrumentation, and modern production while keeping the character and spirit of the original compositions intact,” reads a press release. The LP also features original artwork by Kevin Bayliss, one of the original artists that worked on Diddy Kong Racing. GET READY. GO! 🏁 Rare Treats: Diddy Kong Racing Revisited is available now!
