DIIV share new single, "Kid"

"Kid" follows lead single "The Fountain", showing a new side of the A.G. Cook-produced album. The song is accompanied by a video directed by Jaxon Whittington and filmed by vocalist Zachary Cole Smith’s son Roy, as well as his friend Julian.

In Cook's words about the album, which follows the band's dystopian 2024 release, Frog In Boiling Water, "ZIRP! emerged as a concept, and a sort of utopian, dystopian mantra. For me it became a vehicle to push the band into new territory.”
