DJ Shadow announces 30th anniversary reissue and tour of the classic ‘Endtroducing’

DJ Shadow is rereleasing his classic album ‘Endtroducing’ and heading on tour to celebrate its 30th anniversary. Blending influences from rock, psychedelia, jazz and more, ‘Endtroducing’ was recorded between DJ Shadow’s home studio, The Glue Factory in San Francisco, and Dan The Automator’s studio, and became the first sample-only album. In the three decades since it was first released, the album has become a classic among fans and helped pave the way for modern electronica, thanks to its undertones of lo-fi sounds, ambient soundscapes and more. Artists including Radiohead have cited it as a source of inspiration too, as did Deftones, who joined forces with DJ Shadow in 2020 to drop a remix for their seminal album ‘White Pony’, titled ‘Black Stallion’.
