Kendrick Lamar has lined up a collaboration with Taylor Swift as part of his next album, according to DJ Snake.
The artist spoke out about the upcoming LP from Lamar in a new interview, and claimed that a new collaboration will be featured as the rapper has joined forces with Swift.
While nothing else has been said as of yet, and the speculation is far from being confirmed, it doesn’t seem too far-fetched that the two could be working together on new material.
Lamar previously contributed to the remix of Swift’s hit track ‘Bad Blood’ back in 2014. Similarly, both have common ground as they each released music with producer and Bleachers frontman Jack Antonoff earlier this year.

If the claims by DJ Snake do come to fruition, the joint song could reignite the infamous feud between Lamar and Drake – which came to a head earlier this year.
This is because, during the height of their beef which saw them drop increasingly personal diss tracks, Drake shared ‘Taylor Made Freestyle’. The song saw him insult Lamar for being on the ‘Bad Blood’ remix, with him saying: “Make another one for the Swifties”.
At time of writing, details about any upcoming music from K.Dot remains vague, although the rapper did recently open up about his future in music in a new interview, and explain what he sees as being his “end goal”.
The interview, which he did with SZA, came shortly after the latter teased that a new Lamar album would be arriving soon. SZA – who is close friends with Lamar, and has collaborated with him several times in the past – last week shared a post on social media that suggests the rapper is readying a new album.
Shortly before then, Lamar swept the BET Hip-Hop Awards, clinching eight of his 11 nominations including Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Music Video of the Year, Lyricist of the Year and more.
As for Swift, the singer shared her latest album ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ earlier this year, and has recently been wrapping up her final ‘Eras’ tour dates in North America.
Just last week, she surprised fans by bringing out Gracie Abrams for a version of their collaboration ‘Us’ in Toronto.
