Tresor.West in Dortmund, Germany, will close its doors at the end of 2026, marking the end of an era. The sister venue to Berlin’s legendary Tresor, Tresor.West, will close its doors at the end of 2026, after a seven-year run in Dortmund. The techno club will spend its final months hosting a series of events and closing parties throughout October, November, and December. While the full lineup for its final months has yet to be announced, the club has promised a series of closing parties to celebrate its history and the community that has grown around the venue. Some of the remaining acts that are scheduled to perform include Lip 71, makahuan, madea, and Parallx. The techno club will also host a special Halloween event featuring Alice in Flames, Aöcram, HTML 2020, Røstom, and Shaleen. Founder Dimitri Hegmann attributes the decision to close to declining attendance, rising operating costs, and shifting nightlife habits.
