Drake Goes Country, Interpolates “Choosin’ Texas” on Fear of Missing Out

On Tuesday, Drake debuted Fear of Missing Out (FOMO), his self-described “not-so-short film,” which turned out to be a collection of new music videos off his three-album drop from earlier this summer, along with roughly half a dozen previously unheard songs. Several of the new tracks find Drake venturing into country-inspired sounds, including one that interpolates Ella Langley’s chart-topping single “Choosin’ Texas.” The project also boasts new collaborations with Don Toliver and Yeat. Of the music videos, there were cameos from Langley, Toliver, Sexyy Red, Winnie Harlow, Lena the Plug, Pinkchyu, and his mother Sandi Graham. FOMO debuted on YouTube around 10:30 p.m. ET, but the video was removed shortly after its premiere. It remains unclear whether the film will be made available again or if the new songs and videos will receive a separate release.
