Dua Saleh – “Cállate”

2 hours ago 3

This new Dua Saleh track goes crazy. "Cállate," from the genre-blurring Sudanese-American's forthcoming Of Earth & Wires album, matches their wispy high-pitched vocals with a bass-forward Brazilian beat, eerie guitar and keyboard parts, and some late-breaking electronic bombast. The title's translation: "Call me."

Here's some context for you, straight from the source:

Cállate is about two lovers that the ‘Of Earth & Wires’ album follows. They’re surviving on a post-apocalyptic Earth. They feel rising tension as they reflect on the chaotic material environment surrounding them. Sometimes—in high-stress situations—lovers can crash out, but these two twin flames always find their way back home.
