The Bear has returned for its fifth and final season, but what songs feature on the soundtrack? Find out below.

Created by Christopher Storer, the acclaimed FX kitchen drama stars Jeremy Allen White as Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto, Ayo Edebiri as Sydney Adamu, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Richard “Richie” Jerimovich and Abby Elliott as Natalie “Sugar” Berzatto.
The final season picks up after Carmy’s decision to step away from the restaurant industry, leaving Sydney, Richie and Natalie to carry The Bear forward without him at the centre of the kitchen.
With money running out, a possible sale looming and a torrential storm hitting Chicago, the team are forced to pull together for one last service as they try to keep the restaurant alive and chase the recognition they have been working towards.
In the US, season five premiered on FX and Hulu on June 25. In the UK, the season is available to stream on Disney+.

In a four-star review of season five, NME wrote: “The exact fate of The Bear will be discovered by viewers when the final episode arrives, but the fifth and final season is a suitable send-off to these unlikely comrades. It might not reach the boiling temperatures of the show at its peak, but it’s a satisfying final course.”

Music has always been a major part of The Bear, with previous seasons having been notable for needle drops from the likes of Refused, R.E.M., Taylor Swift, The Who, Bob Dylan, St. Vincent, Pearl Jam, Wilco and Nine Inch Nails.
Season five, however, takes a different approach. Rather than building the final run around a long list of licensed songs, the season leans heavily on an original score by Christian Lundberg, with production by Hans Zimmer.

Lundberg said of joining the show for its final season: “From the beginning, The Bear has been about far more than what happens in the kitchen. It’s about ambition, family, resilience and the bonds that hold people together.
“Joining the show for its final season, my goal was to create a score that honored the emotional weight of characters navigating constant change, balancing the intensity of their journeys with quieter, more reflective themes, weaving together electronic and organic elements to mirror that push and pull.”
