Ex-BROCKHAMPTON member Bearface returns as Ciarán with debut single, "K-Bar"

"K-Bar" is Ciarán's first solo release since BROCKHAMPTON disbanded in 2022. He first teased his solo comeback with a new website revealed last week, as well as posts hinting at new music that were positively received by fans. On his website, he wrote: "I really and truly appreciate every single person who has remained excited at even the prospect of me coming back and releasing something. It's been an extensive and intentional process and I hope you can enjoy the music (and the process of that which it comes) with an open heart and I hope it can become something that you could see yourself living with for a long while." The track is the first glimpse into Ciarán's creative world independent of BROCKHAMPTON, revealing a distorted sound defined by his vocals, synth work, heavy bass and choppy percussion. Speaking about how he arrived at his decision to release solo material four years later, he says: “I’d rather wait and take my time than just put something out because of any sort of perceived pressures from anyone else,”
