Felony Charge Cut From Rick Ross’ Domestic Assault Case

The rapper Rick Ross has a little less to worry about in his domestic violence case, as prosecutors have dropped the felony charge filed against him. The alleged incident took place inside the "Port of Miami" rapper's house on Star Island on August 28. His ex-girlfriend claimed that he woke up, enraged over her being "tagged in a photo on Instagram," and slapped her in the face. Rick Ross pleaded not guilty to both charges after he was arrested and turned himself in on October 1. He spent only a few hours in jail before he was quickly bailed out.
