Flower Face details new album, Kill the Muse

Flower Face — the moniker of Ruby McKinnon — first had her breakout moment with her 2024 album, Girl Prometheus. She first previewed Kill the Muse with "Bad Dream", released last month, with "Better the Devil" landing as the second taster. The track delves into one of the album's central questions of what pain is worth, exploring the weight of dealing with bad habits while everyone else has moved on from them. McKinnon wrote most of the songs on Kill the Muse while in the studio making Girl Prometheus pouring the pain of difficult experiences into the work.
