Fontaines D.C. have announced another 80,000 capacity show at Slane Castle, due to the first announced date seeing phenomenal demand. They made the announcement shortly after their headline performances at Reading & Leeds and Electric Picnic over the weekend, and the mammoth 2027 slot will make them only the third Irish act to headline Slane Castle, following Thin Lizzy in 1981 and U2 in 2001. Other huge headline acts have included The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Queen, David Bowie, Bob Dylan, Guns N’ Roses, Oasis, Madonna, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, Eminem and Harry Styles.
