Frankie Valli Has Finally Retired, His Brother Says

Doo-wop legend Frankie Valli went viral in 2024, but it wasn't the good kind of viral. Videos showed the 90-year-old Valli still performing onstage, going through the long-familiar motions even though the backup singers behind him were clearly hitting most of the actual notes. When at least one online commenter likened Valli's continued performing career to "elder abuse," Valli himself felt the need to respond, saying that he planned to keep performing for as long as he possibly could. Valli was still taking casino bookings earlier this year, but now he's finally retired, at least according to his brother.In an all-caps Facebook post on Wednesday, Frankie Valli's younger brother Bobby wrote about Frankie's many proud career accomplishments and went on to say, "HE WILL NOW RETIRE.
