Glastonbury Announces 2025 Ticket On Sale, Changes to Purchase Portal

2 weeks ago 8

Those looking to attend Glastonbury 2025 have been advised to sign in “a few minutes early” to purchase their tickets.

Longrunning Somerset, England music festival Glastonbury has announced that tickets to next year’s festival slated for June 25-29 will go on sale next week. Attendee hopefuls might need to take an extra step to secure their passes, though.

According to the Glastonbury website, a new portal courtesy of See Tickets has been implemented to prevent scalping and eliminate the need for purchasers to repeatedly refresh the page. Here’s the catch: It’s not as intuitive as in previous years. Buyers are advised to sign in ahead of time lest they miss their chance at locking in a ticket, which will run £373.50 plus a £5 booking fee.

“Anyone who logs on once the sale has started will automatically be added to the back of the queue, so it’s important to make sure you are online ready at least a few minutes before the sale opens,” reads the website verbiage. “Once you are in the queue, a progress bar will indicate how close you are to reaching the booking page. Please do not refresh this page or use multiple devices or tabs or you may lose your place in the queue.”

Glastonbury also requires you to register on its website in order to purchase tickets as a measure to prevent scalping, as it has for years. In 2024, tickets in the main sale sold out in less than an hour, and resale tickets sold out in only 22 minutes. Resale tickets are those not fully paid off after the purchaser puts down the required £75 deposit.

Glastonbury coach and ticket packages go on sale Thursday, November 14 at 6pm, with general ticket on sale starting at 9am on Sunday, November 17. Register via See Tickets.
