Rapper Freddie Gibbs is the latest musician rumoured to be involved in Grand Theft Auto 6.
Speaking to PCGamer, journalist and content creator HipHopGamer claimed “there are things in Grand Theft Auto that I know for a fact, because I got a chance to party with Rockstar.”
He went on to tease that “a major rapper that left CM Punk bloody by accident,” will feature in the game as part of a “special side mission. Fans are convinced HipHopGamer is talking about Freddie Gibbs who revealed earlier this year that he accidentally hurt wrestler CM Punk while filming their 2025 horror Night Patrol.
Freddie Gibbs’ track ‘Still Livin’’ was featured on GTA 5’s Los Santos radio station. Despite rumours about a possible Grand Theft Auto 6 appearance going viral, the rapper has yet to address them.

And Gibbs isn’t the only musician reportedly set to feature in the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6. In 2024, ScHoolboy Q confirmed his music would be used in Grand Theft Auto 6 after previously featuring on the soundtrack for GTA 5 while T-Pain has said that he’s involved in the creation of the long-awaited sequel following his involvement with GTA Online role-playing community NoPixel.
In a now-deleted Instagram comment, Panama claimed his new song ‘Back To Life’ will feature on the GTA 6 soundtrack while Neon Indian teased their relationship with Rockstar isn’t over yet after their ‘Change Of Coast’ became a fan-favourite GTA 5 anthem.
Last year Skrilla, the artist behind the viral 6 7 meme, said their breakout track ‘Doot Doot’ will feature on the soundtrack. “I’m also going to be my own person on there, playing my own music,” he added.
There have also been reports that Drake will have his own Grand Theft Auto 6 radio station while some fans believe Travis Scott and Megan Thee Stallion have teased their appearance in the game. Last year, Megan Thee stallion shared a Vice City-inspired photo shoot while Scott’s music video for ‘2000 Excursion’ features a car with the license plate ‘GTA6 VI6’.
A third trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 is expected soon after Rockstar confirmed their marketing push for the game would start this summer ahead of the title’s November 19 release date.
In other news, Pokémon fighting game Champions was released yesterday (April 8) but fans aren’t impressed with the latest spin-off.
