GROUP A.D. release new track, "Bird of Parallax"

With a sound described as something that exists between "dubbed out, psychedelic no-wave and spaghetti-western orchestral maximalism", GROUP A.D. (which stands for The Group For Action & Dance) have released "Bird of Parallax" as their second musical offering this year, following their debut EP Colour Space Transform released back in March. "Bird of Parallax" arrives as part of a double A-side single, with second track "Sliinky" to follow in October. “This is our wildest track so far," says vocalist and songwriter Aidan Razzall. "We wrote ‘Bird of Parallax’ earlier this year in the hills of Andalusia. The studio was isolated, surrounded by almond fields, and we didn’t have any guitars- so we drove to the nearest town to borrow the only electric guitar in the area. The song started with a small loop containing the track’s eerie vocal sample and strange guitar slides, and soon mutated into something between abrasive machine-music and a 60’s film score theme."
