Grumpy Announce New Album Unfindable Ring: Hear “OBL”

Earlier this year, Stereogum faves Grumpy returned with the grungy, glitchy anthem "Twenty Five." But guess what! That tune comes from a new album called Unfindable Ring, which they're announcing today. The second single, "OBL," is here, and it's an alt-country banger.Grumpy, which started out as Heaven Schmitt's own eccentric project, has become a full band with Anya Good, Ellie Long (Kid Lake), Austin Arnold, Diego Clare (D.A. Crimson), and Lane Rodgers. Here's what Schmitt says of "OBL":Touring across the country as a band full of trans people, we often worry about how we will be received, and sometimes wonder if we will be safe. But what we usually find is love. We protect each other and laugh and live our normal lives.
