Grumpy share new single, "The Whale"

"The Whale" follows lead single "OBL" as the latest preview of the work. Vocalist Heaven Schmitt co-wrote the track with guitarist Diego Clare (D.A. Crimson), and it lands alongside a video directed by Clare. “Diego, my bandmate, is the greatest songwriter I know," Schmitt says of the pair's songwriting collaboration. "Since I’ve met them, I’ve felt that collaborating with and learning from them is the only way I won’t die of jealousy over their artistry. In writing this song together, they pushed me out of my normal true-to-life story telling and into inventive fiction. We both can tend towards co-misery over the music industry, wondering if we will make it. But this song is about knowing that our time will come.
