Charli played the first show of the tour in Philadelphia last night (September 11), opening with ‘Rock Music’, her first single from this new era. She then launched into ‘Yeah’, ‘Apple’ from 2024’s ‘Brat’ and ‘Wink Wink’, before giving ‘Persona’ its first-ever live performance. As she had previously promised on social media, the set included a surprise track which, for night one, was ‘Stay Away’ from her 2013 debut album ‘True Romance’. It came alongside other fan favourites like ‘pink diamond’, ‘Track 10’ and ‘party 4 u’. Later, she invited tour opener Underscores to the stage for a duet of her track ‘Do It’ from her latest album ‘U‘. The final portion of the set focused on songs from ‘Music, Fashion, Film’, with Charli playing b-side ‘Playboy Bunny’ followed by her ode to collaborator A.G. Cook, ‘Magic Metal Montana’, and ‘SS26’.
