Metallica have announced a run of 2025 North American tour dates with a rotating cast of support acts featuring Pantera, Limp Bizkit, Suicidal Tendencies, and Ice Nine Kills.

What Is Metallica’s 2025 North American Tour?
An extension of Metallica’s “M72 Tour,” the upcoming 2025 trek will see the thrash legends continuing their “No Repeat Weekend” format. The band will once again play two-night stands in multiple cities, but with a different career-spanning setlist each night. That means fans who get tickets to both shows won’t hear the same song twice.
After kicking the tour off in April 2025 with a set at Sick New World Festival in Las Vegas, Metallica will play multiple-night stadium shows in Toronto, Nashville, Philadelphia, Tampa, Houston, Santa Clara, and Denver.
There are also several one-night-only dates on the itinerary in Charlotte, Atlanta, Houston, and more, but all shows will feature a full production and the massive in-the-round stage setup seen on Metallica’s previous “M72” dates.

How Can I Buy Tickets for Metallica’s 2025 North American Tour?
Tickets for Metallica’s 2025 North American tour go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, September 27th at 10:00 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster. The band will host a variety of ticket pre-sales in the days leading up to the public on-sale, including a pre-sale for members of its Fifth Member fan club on Monday, September 23rd and a Live Nation pre-sale on Thursday, September 26th (use access code SETLIST).
Fans can also look for deals or get tickets to sold-out dates via StubHub, where your purchase is 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s Fan Protect program. StubHub is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.
Who Is Opening on Metallica’s 2025 North American Tour?
Pantera are returning as direct support on select dates after opening shows on the 2024 “M72” tour. The reunited thrashers will be paired with Suicidal Tendencies for 12 shows on the upcoming run. Meanwhile, the other six dates will be supported by Limp Bizkit and Ice Nine Kills.

As mentioned, Metallica just played shows with Pantera on the 2024 “M72” tour. On the other hand, it’s been over two decades since Metallica and Limp Bizkit last toured together when the latter supported the 2003 leg of the “Summer Sanitarium Tour.”
