Immersive David Lynch and ‘Twin Peaks’ celebration event coming to London next month

An immersive celebration of David Lynch and his seminal TV series Twin Peaks will be returning to London’s Genesis Cinema, with special guests and interactive events. His death prompted an outpouring of tributes from fans and collaborators, including the Genesis Cinema, which held the first A Gathering of the Angels event last September. Now, the venue is bringing it back for a second year. Held from September 26-27, the weekend offers a variety of experiences, including screenings of Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me and Blue Velvet. The latter movie will be the subject of an immersive experience. There will also be a live owl demonstration with a falconer, celebrating the importance of the animals as symbolism in the TV show. Fans will be served coffee and doughnuts, which are strongly associated with the filmmaker.
