Infrasound Festival Reveals Lineup for 15th Anniversary Edition

Infrasound Festival has reached year 15, and organizers have announced that J:Kenzo, Zero, Neffa-T, and more will be joining them this May.

Infrasound Festival has become one of the longest-running traditions in the sound system scene, with admirable longevity as an independent brand. Typically throwing not one, but two events each year, the team behind Infrasound has spent the last decade and a half creating one of the tightest-knit communities in dubstep. It’s clear they’re still in it for the long haul, as the festival is set to return to the beautiful Harmony Park Music Garden in Clarks Grove, Minnesota from May 14-17.

With last year’s announcement that the US’ only touring Element 5 system will remain in its Kansas City warehouse for the foreseeable future, Infrasound fans mourned the loss of one of their favorite sound rigs to ever grace the stages. While nobody could never forget the Element 5s’ impact on the festival, their absence will pave the way for a more permanent, new tradition. Before today’s lineup reveal, Infrasound announced the purchase of a massive Danley Sound Labs system to fill the void.

As for the artists taking the three unique stages at Infrasound this year, the bill is full of talent from huge names and underground gems alike. The return of legends like J:Kenzo, Koan Sound, Youngsta, Neffa T, and Zero is already sparking excitement amongst the community. With the recent split of hometown heroes Ternion Sound, it comes as no surprise that the three will each have sets with their new stand-alone aliases: Antithesis, Apparition, and Speedtek.

Newer billings that fans are stoked to see include Richard Finger, Villain Era, Nautical Divine, and LYNY. And the Infrasound lineup is never complete without returning faces like kLL smTH, Resonant Language, Eazybaked, Mr. Bill, Somatoast, Flintwick, and DJ Necromancer.
