Jai Wolf revealed that his forthcoming LP, The Red Eye Home, is due out next month and dropped his latest single, “Water Signs,” featuring Aluna.
At the heart of Jai Wolf‘s adept artistry is his ability to incorporate various influences that fuse indie punk, hip-hop, orchestral elements, and Bollywood melodies. Over the last year, he has been busy crafting new sounds in the studio, dropping several high-caliber releases, such as “Alive” and a Babu remix of “Wild Ones.” Jai Wolf also dropped off the five-year anniversary deluxe edition of The Cure To Loneliness, featuring all the original tracks alongside live and acoustic versions of beloved songs.
As the visionary indie electronic artist continues to expand his sonic horizon, Jai Wolf has shared the news of his next album, The Red Eye Home, adding another milestone to his growing accomplishments. Set to drop on November 15 via Mom + Pop Music, his sophomore album arose from one of the most challenging moments of his life. Rather than resisting them, he revealed that these hardships had guided him towards new horizons and called the latest chapter the Blue Babu Era: The Red Eye Home.
To give the fans a preview of what’s to come, Jai Wolf released a new collaborative single with Aluna, “Water Signs.” Coinciding with the Scorpio season and the fact that both artists are water signs, this vibrant tune has a punchy yet introspective groove that locks the listeners into a mesmerizing spell. The previous two singles, “Heaven is Calling” and “Want it All” with Evalyn, also harness ethereal melodies and infectious beats, as Jai Wolf strikes a balance between light and dark elements while radiating an uplifting energy.
