Jozef Van Wissem & Jim Jarmusch Announce New Double Album Bocca di Lupo/Mouth Of The Wolf: Hear “Never Like You Said” (Feat. Courtney Barnett)

Dutch composer Jozef Van Wissem and legendary American filmmaker Jim Jarmusch have announced two new collaborative albums, Bocca di Lupo and Mouth Of The Wolf, arriving together this fall. The lead single "Never Like You Said" is out today, and it features Courtney Barnett, who released her new record Creature Of Habit earlier this year.The two LPs were recorded in July 2025 in Bologna, Italy. About the project, Wissem and Jarmusch share:With thanks to Gian Luca Farinelli and Rosanna Mordini from the extraordinary Cineteca di Bologna, we were able to secure recording days in the very cool Fonoprint Studios — located on Via Bocca di Lupo in Bologna, hence the titles of these two LPs. (“In bocca al lupo” - in the mouth of the wolf - is the Italian idiom for wishing one good luck; equivalent to “break a leg” in english.)Bocca di Lupo starts with a new version of our own “Only Lovers Left Alive,” and “Apology” is a new version of a pre-existing piece by Jozef.
