A new book about the making of KPop Demon Hunters will unearth the mythology and artistic process behind the Netflix phenomenon. Released last June, the animated musical became Netflix’s most-watched movie of all time. It tells the story of HUNTR/X, a world-famous K-Pop group who perform for their fans by day, but battle demons by night. The success of the film has led to live concerts and a sequel being planned. Now, a new book titled The Art Of KPop Demon Hunters: Platinum Edition will take fans on a deep dive into the making of the movie. The 144-page book will feature 500 pieces of concept art, character studies, and final designs from the film. Along with the visual aspect, the book will delve into the inspirations behind the movie, including real-life K-Pop bands, Korean mythology, and Shamanism. The book’s platinum edition features holographic page edges that evoke the Honmoon, the veil that HUNTR/X protect in the movie.
