The emo/post-hardcore supergroup L.S. Dunes released their debut album Past Lives in 2022, and they’ve been cranking out a steady diet of one-off singles ever since then. The last of those songs was “Fatal Deluxe,” which just came out last month. Now, ahead of their performance at this weekend’s When We Were Young festival, L.S. Dunes have hit us with another new one.
The new L.S. Dunes track “Machines” is a soaring, melodic track with a few harsh screams thrown in there for good luck. Band member Frank Iero, also of My Chemical Romance, co-directed the video with David Brodsky. The clip has a lot of fun with the word “supergroup,” and it shows the band playing on a cheesy ’70s talk show and winning over a skeptical audience. Check it out below.
