Lambrini Girls announce second album, No Refunds

No Refunds is the follow-up to the duo's 2025 debut Who Let The Dogs Out, and sees vocalist-guitarist Phoebe Lunny and bassist Selin Macieira-Boşgelmez return with a darker and more urgent sound for a world that, in their own words, "got even worse." The first preview landed earlier this year with "Cult of Celebrity," a pop-oriented track taking down celebrity culture. "Bang Bang Bang" arrives as the second preview, as Lunny explains: "'Bang Bang Bang' tells a smart (and possibly familiar) story of a man who has been revered as a Christ-like figure but also as the devil." The songs on No Refunds confront modern horrors ranging from genocide and fascism to the rise of AI, reproductive rights and the descent into the 'manosphere', while expanding their industrial punk sound. The album follows a difficult period for the pair, in which Selin stepped back from touring in late 2025 after being burned out and subsequently triggering a manic episode as a symptom of her bipolar disorder, while Phoebe suffered a brain injury during the band's first Australian tour.
