It’ll feature live performances and interviews, filmed at Alexandra Palace Theatre in London. Paul Heaton is due to perform on episode one in support of his first-ever UK Number One solo album, ‘Jenius’. The rest of the performers on the first instalment will be making their TV debuts on Later… With Jools Holland. These are NME 100 alumni Skye Newman, former NME Cover stars Mary In The Junkyard, gospel-inspired Northampton rapper DC3, and Wiltshire singer-songwriter Dermot Henry. Former Smiths guitarist Marr, meanwhile, will speak to host Jools Holland about his new solo record, ‘The Age Of Everything’ (out this Friday, October 2), on episode one.
